MOTORCLASSICA WELCOMES POMMERY CHAMPAGNE AS OFFICIAL PARTNER IN 2017
Australia’s premier classic car and motorcycle exhibition, Motorclassica, is welcoming Pommery Champagne as its official Champagne partner in 2017.
Set for its eighth year at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton, Motorclassica will run from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 October, showcasing a unique mix of rare, vintage, historic, exotic, vintage and collectable cars and motorcycles from all corners of the globe.
Visitors to Motorclassica will also be treated to a glimpse at the latest contemporary and high-end sports and performance models, and a large array of special features and marque celebrations across the event.
New to the event in 2017 is the Pommery Champagne Lounge, located in the Royal Exhibition Forecourt for the duration of the event.
Guests can expect a luxurious yet accessible and thoroughly enjoyable experience in the Pommery Champagne Lounge, as a place for all visitors to sit back and soak in the Motorclassica atmosphere.
Founded in 1836 in Reims, Pommery Champagne is one of the oldest and most prestigious Champagne Houses of the region and famous for the creation of the first Brut (dry) Champagne in 1874. Today, the House still adheres to the philosophy of the original and iconic Madame Pommery who said; “never imitate anyone, including yourself!”.
Having previously partnered with other Concours d’Elegance events around the world, including Italy and France, the highly respected Champagne House is now pleased to be adding Melbourne to its portfolio.
“The sophistication and elegance of Motorclassica is a perfect match for Pommery Champagne, and we are so thrilled to be bringing the Champagne Lounge to life at Motorclassica 2017,” Inge Fransen, Managing Director Vranken-Pommery Australia said.
“Our offering at Motorclassica will be relaxed, refined and refreshing, with a different option for each guest’s liking, and perhaps even a chance to try our most recent Champagne creation! It will be the perfect place for the ladies to relax and enjoy a refreshing glass, while the men hunt for their next car.”
